top mounts gone/going?!

HI

Ive noticed the steering on my AGP becoming a bit 'loose' or even 'lively' recently?!
the steering wheel seems to be moving a lot more than it was even when going in a straight line and doesn't feel as positive/solid as it did before...  :-\

any thoughts people?

i was wondering if this was the standard top mounts issue but not sure what to look for etc

any help much appreciated!

    I certainly have had my top mounts replaced a couple of years back (my AGP - 2008 vintage) [when a front spring broke!]; also, what about drop links? (mine replaced 2 years ago); or just tracking??

    You say "lively"... what tyres?   All 4 shoes OK?   Another thing to look at is rear tracking/suspension... I've had a FIAT before which 'stepped out' a lot due to a rear suspension issue...

    I guess my first suspicion is a tyre issue... then the suspension (front and rear) ... hope you get it sorted soon, John.

    Mine has apparent slight play in one of mine. I am going to replace both if it flags up on the mot.
