Yeah, I actually love and hate Top Gear. I still watch it and it's entertaining, but when I YouTube Top gear 1991 or something, and watch how it used to be I find myself like..."CARS :O"

I agree, I think there is room somewhere for a proper car program, it doesnt look like Top Gear would ever go back to basics.
Though I was really enjoying the New Fiesta review in the last series (I think?) and then it all went a bit bizarre!! Maybe it's my age... :'(

I actually thought it was really good up until the totally totally over the top finish which took a Stabilo to Top Gears main problem, overuse of stuff that doesn't relate to cars.

I really hate how Dave leaves in that frankly, f**king awful chat show segments which I loathe with a passion and turn over for a good 10-15 minutes, and yet they edit the actual car tests to take that 15 minutes or so away for adverts. What the hell, where are the priorities, I know JC wanted to be a chat show host for a bit, but his forte is in being a car reviewer and presenter!

It's unbelievable when you watch the old Top Gear and a price list appears on screen, or a similar specs sheet. Everyone is also very well spoken, which isn't necessarily a good thing, but it shows what has happened to the BBC as a whole.
