Finance deals will vary, but for a car of that value you'd probably be looking at around the £250 a month with 10% down. I hasten to add this is a very vague figure, it could be more or less depending on what sort of finance you opt for (HP/PCP) and your personal circumstances. My Lupo GTI was just about the same price as the Abarth Punto back in 2004 and I was paying £215 a month for 3 years on a simple bread and butter HP deal, but obviously the financial packages now will be different, plus it depends on how much you put in as a deposit.

You'll get lower monthly cost by upping the deposit or increasing the length of the agreement, but obviously going to a 5 year deal rather than a 3 year will mean less a month but more in the long run. Swings and roundabouts.

How much can you afford and how much can you put down are the first question the dealers will ask.

As you are probably aware, it is impossible for me to post a finance quote on the forum due to FSA regulations, small print etc. but I can tell you a NP G.P. Abarth with a 20% deposit (£2700) will work out at £260 ish on a 36 month PCP deal.
