I assume you've already used the seat height adjustment lever?

I'm slightly taller and never had this problem with mine, I didn't even have the seat on it's lowest setting. I'm wondering if the height adjuster might be stuck and is not on it's lowest setting?

Most certainly have. It lowers by about an inch, maybe two from it's highest position but even at it's lowest there's still only an inch clearance between my head and the headlining

Well I've only got a 31" inside leg so most of my height is in my upper body, I've got a big neck too which doesn't help!

I never had any problems in my Grande Punto Sporting - then again I didn't have the SkyDome roof in the Sporting and I do in the SS!

Ask the GTT guys to look into it. Dont see a reason why it cant be done as sub is in the boot on AGP.
More difficult on 500 though.

It's going into them soon so they can have a play with a few other bits so will ask them to have a look while they've got it!

I would have thought anything relating too the seat fitment would need type approval as its an essential safety feature 

So im guessing it would cost quite a lot 

You'd think that but I know loads of people in the past to get custom runners made to fit seats into their cars..  I guess it would be something you're suppose to do but doubt many do.

As long as I fully trust the workmanship and strength then I'd be ok with it

Im a biggy and do find that the seat doesn't seem to sink in enough to get totally comfortable. I found the answer though - Sabelt's 

That is most certainly the answer..  Maybe a rather expensive one, but it is the best answer!

well im 6foot 3 and i have no problem what so ever.... use the height ajustment lever on the right hand side of the seat....

Have you not bothered to read the thread so far?  It's as far down as it goes!

The SkyDome must lower the roof lining by quite a large amount as head clearance is a lot less

Try reducing the size of your neck. Night help.
