Sticker in drivers door opening
« on: November 24, 2008, 02:32:42 pm »
Has anyone else noticed this sticker in the drivers door opening, just below the door latch?

I noticed it for the first time today. I'm sure that it is just a general thing and in no way means that my car has any esseesse bits on it.

Nope, me neither.  In fact, I don't have any stickers on mine, not even tyre pressures.

(I re-sized your photos for you)

OPC I'll  check some of mine tommorrow, but I dont remember seeing one. I'm not 100% sure where those stickers get fitted, it could be the factory or they may get fitted during PDI in Portbury. There is no reason for that sticker to excist as no car comes out of the factory or depot as an Esse Esse.
I have had a couple of 500 that have the icorrect stickers on the door, one even said it was a Grande Punto ;D

Nope, not on mine either.  Perhaps you already have an EsseEsse  ;)

    John

I'll be a tad upset if my Abarth 500 looks like a GP!
Even a salesman in a trilby and a sheepskin jacket isn't going to convince me.

And if they do an esseesse kit then you won't need another vehicle to take away all the original bits!

I have now checked 6 cars and not one has a sticker in the door shut! I officially have no idea why yours would have it!

Well, it sits the same height, does not have 18" wheels, or grooved brakes and only feels like around 155BHP, so I think that we can safely say that it is standard. I did get a message from Westover today though saying that they had two boxes for me. ;D
