Used AGP Esseesse exhaust - any resale value?
« on: May 26, 2016, 09:35:34 pm »
Hello.

I bought an AGP Esseesse about two months ago that came fitted with an aftermarket exhaust.

The seller included the Esseesse exhaust with the sale in case I wanted to revert back to it.  I don't.

So I was wondering; does the Esseesse exhaust I now have in my garage have any resale value - or should I just scrap it?

Keen to get fellow members opinions.

The car had done approximately 45,000 miles whilst the exhaust was fitted, but I've been informed it was in perfect working order when removed.

Thanks

Sadly, it doesn't look like the SS exhaust but the standard one.

Don't scrap it though someone will no doubt give you £100 for it  :thumb:

Thanks for the reply Andrew. Appreciate the feedback.

I'm new to the Abarth scene so don't really know my onions. I just assumed it was the Esseesse exhaust because the car's been fitted with the kit, and I read that a new exhaust was part of that kit.

Out of interest; how could you tell it isn't an Esseesse exhaust? Not doubting your call at all; I'm just curious.

    Cheers :-)

The tips are rounder than the standard exhaust (it could just be the angle of the image mind).

To me your exhaust looks like the one in the first image attached, the SS exhaust is attached in the second image.

for what it's worth, I looked under my (2008) GPA "standard version" and what you picture does look identical to mine.  Of course I have no idea what n Esseesse one looks like though

It looks good and clean though. J.

My AGP came with an aftermarket exhaust of unknown origin (I suspect Longlife or Powerflow). Bit too blowy for my liking and distance trips are deafening!  ;D

i thought the standard exhaust was a complete section front to cat and the esseesse one was a separate backbox and middle section.
