Oil sump part no.?
« on: March 22, 2014, 08:24:40 pm »
Have had my car fully serviced with no issues except the oil sump being stripped of its threads and leaking, can't risk driving to have all the oil leak out!

I'm struggling to find the correct part no. for the oil sump I need, I'm assuming it's the typical 1.4 T-Jet type, issue is there's tons of different variants for that on the internet, with all priced differently from £40 odd to £250!

Hopefully one of you kind folks can point me in the right direction.

Alternatively I can use a helicoil kit, if so - does anyone know the bolt size, so I know what drill bit size needs to be used (sure my mechanic will figure this out himself tbh, but I'd like to know too )

Either option will do, but ideally I'd rather get a new oil sump.

Cheers folks!  ;D

Will any 1.4 T-Jet oil sump suffice?

One on ebay isn't aluminium, and states it's for the FIAT 500 1.4 T-Jet, are they the same? One being priced £220 and the other £80...hopefully they're the same as the part number is the same as the one you provided me with?
