General Abarth / Delayed at Bristol (Is this common)
« Last post by secondabarthowner on Today at 12:54:30 pm »
Basically my question, I've ordered a new Abarth which arrived at Bristol on the 02/06 and yesterday the dealer emailed to tell me that it's delayed there at the depot and they're trying to find out why. Is this common and should i be worried? appreciate any answers

Hello, I think that's a good theory. I posted a photo, don't know why it isn't in my original post.
Thanks,
Dave.

Sorry about the photo but all pictures and attachments now have to be approved by Admin before they can be shown on the forum.

Hence the delay between your post and your photo appearing.

Another sign of the times we live in.

In addition to the visual deterrent of the steering lock think about an OBD port blocker stops thieves using plug in OBD readers,

I've seen it on BMW's that use a similar filter system. If the filter is just dropped into the holder and the top screwed on without seating the filter correctly on the cap, this as 124Abarthreplica correctly says, is the result.

My opinion, it has not been pushed into the plastic cap before reassembly.

It may be for an additional cup holder.
Bit bizarre as it gets in the way of the passenger, and they are hugely expensive to buy.
