Abarth 500 / Re: 2017 Trofeo Suspension Adjustable?

Thanks 124Abarthreplica I did think that's the case. With 205/45/17 it's a firm ride.
Keeping tyre pressures at the max advised does help a touch.

Do Trofeo and Turismo have identical suspension set up as standard? When I test-drove both models, I found Turismo suspension a bit more comfortable. Maybe it was just my perception at that time.

Abarth 500 / 2017 Trofeo Suspension Adjustable?
« Last post by 66Grey on December 25, 2021, 10:37:04 pm »
Spec wise
"Trofeo comes with: rear Koni shock absorbers and Eibach lowered springs"

Just wondering if these are adjustable, purely to soften the ride slightly on the awful roads around here. Some dips/pot holes can give the feeling of a punch in the kidneys at times :(

Thanks,

Very tempting actually :)

But dangerous too, that'd be a slippery slope because then I'd need black door handles too, then dechrome the boot handle, etc. And then I'd have to start on the interior - black Sabelts (actually slightly tempted by that idea), then I'd have to look at a black dash, and finish off with black switches which light up a little black light on a black background, in black :D

Sadly my other half has lots of experience debunking my 'man math' so she might not believe me when I say we'd be saving £230k by buying it now  ;D

Merry xmas to you too, and a happy Abarth-filled new year  :thumb:

Aw, sorry MJ.  Can't you get on her right side with a nice bottle of Prada Infusion d’Iris fragrance? And maybe you could try logic and rationale at the same time - after all, if she can't approve a purchase now, a 1300 GT will be twice today's price in a year or two when more people have woken up to the utterly delectable nature of the model!

Thanks for the thumbs-up, and Best Wishes for Christmas and 2022.

Regards.

David  :) :) :)

They look nice on the car too, with replacement gold stripes:
