Alfa Romeo GT to Grande Punto Abarth

Hi everyone i have traded in my alfa romeo Gt today for a Punto Abarth, tough decision as the GT has done me well but at 170k miles it was starting to creak and blow a lot of smoke from its tractor lump. Once i saw and test drove the abarth i knew this was the perfect replacement. Deposit paid and will pick the car up on tuesday.

    Hi Barry as you know the GT has cost me a fortune to maintain in the past year SO glad to see the back of it tbh. I will valet in when i get it home and post some pictures. The car has only had one owner from new and is excellent condition.

    Im happy for you mate about getting the Abarth. The problems the GT was causing you were crazy. Kept breaking one thing after the other. I also saw the video you sent us on whats app with the gear stick issue. Crazy stuff. It was a nice car but it was time it got replaced as it got a bit old. Im sure the Abarth will put lots of smile on your face mate :thumb:

    You going to map it or do any mods to it?

    I went through all the receipts for the Gt £3k spent on repairs in two years  :o

    I will run the punto for a couple of months then upgrade in the summer. The brake calipers look clean SO i think they have been refurbed lately.

    Thats good mate. Have a look online for aftermarket brakes for better performance. Better brakes = better stopping power 8)
