Aye aye!
« on: April 15, 2011, 01:11:10 pm »
;D going for a test drive tomorrow in a A500 thought I would drop in here and see what the craic is like from owners.

I'm going to SG Petch a York to take one out for a day, going to buzz about to Scarbrough / Whitby and back down to York, then back home to Durham. Should be a good day out. 8)

Yep! I only went for a test drive too!!! The car was that much fun I couldn't leave without putting a deposit down!

If you get a red 11 plate 500 to test I was the first one to go out in it!! Think it had less than 10 miles on the clock when Jonny gave me the keys!

    Firstly Hello Newbie

regards the above it had 0 miles on when I got in and took it for a pootle about, 6-7miles or so?  Wish I could have had one for a whole day though to run about in would have given me more of a feel for the car I think.

6-7 miles?! What a short test drive! I had it for a few hours ;D Didn't realise how few miles it had done until I could smell a bit of a burning smell

We did not do too many miles in Jonnys car, but it was enough to persuade us to buy.

I know but it wasn't planned and was about 4pm on a Saturday afternoon we literally went round the block and back in thats why I couldn't give a proper review of the car. I'm sure Jonny told me it was his next company car instead of his SS? Might be wrong though!

So I guess there are afew Abarthisti in Yorkshire then!?
