Hi, just a brief first post - Ordered a 500 esseesse for my daughter and a 695 for myself (hopefully will get one).

The wait is agony.

I have to say after test driving the SS decided it was far more fun than the car I was driving and immediately hoofed that into touch and put a deposit down for both.

    Yes they are fun, get ready for the attention you get when driving them.

    The wait is torture, saying that i wouldnt know

    Grrr! It's now been 63 days and about 21 hours......I'm slowly losing it now! You have my sympathy for being at the start of the process. :P

    Finally got to pick my A500 up last night exactly 68 days after placing the order after a similar revelation on the test drive.  ;D :thumb:All I can say (now I have got it) is that the wait made it even more special.

    Had the added agony of driving home in the rush hour at an average speed of 23.5mph :-\. On the plus side it was a good chance to get the Blue & Me kind of working, if not the turbo.

    Sitting here I can see it from the office window glinting in the sun 8), might need to find an excuse to head off out for an hour...roll on the weekend.

    The wait might not be as bad as you think!  My car was expected to arrive at the end of January but I actually collected it the week before Christmas.   ;D

    I have ordered it way too early but its a birthday present so need a guarantee it would be here in time. esseesse in Black - mmmmmm

    Now we have all this good weather was thinking maybe i should change it too a 500C but then again it would probably make it rain all year (again).

    Having just sold a GTR I have to say the 500 is far more fun than the GTR ever was. Just wish I knew for sure if i am going to get (and can afford) the 695 for me !!!!

    That's difficult to keep track of as the minutes keep changing. However, I'm convinced they are going more slowly than usual......

    Trooper you should check your status code with your dealer 84 days is a bit on the long side unless your after a skydome thingy.

    Welcome Riceman as you can see people do get very very excited but for good reason as all who have been through that process can testify.

    3-0 was, I have to say, most unexpected! As to hassling Bauer Millett :P any more, I'm a bit worried about their application for a restraining order if I do....

    Congrats on the order and you are possibly one of the best fathers in the world.

    What is the ETA of the 695?

    So what is the rough wait time on a 500 SS then? My dealer told me 3 months but is it possible that it might be a little sooner? I've only been waiting two weeks but that is bad enough. I might give them a ring again or something next week just to have a nosey.
