Trooper you should check your status code with your dealer 84 days is a bit on the long side unless your after a skydome thingy.

yes im having skydome :) have phoned dealer four times today and not once got a reply  :thumbd: finally got him on the phone he "thinks" its status 20  ???  it was supposed to be here the begining of April  :-\

    A skydome can slow the process down a bit (up to 4 weeks) so dont be too downhearted :thumb:
    Ask for a copy of your order print out from link system. If your car is at status 20 then it should have an "estimated arrival in the U.K" date.
    That will give you an idea of when the car will hit the U.K. and its usually about 2 weeks for the car to get to the dealer and for them to get it PDI'd and ready for you to pick up :thumb:

    Yes Trooper the skydome does create a problem in production batches at Tychy as they need enough orders to have enough to run a batch through as the roofs are different and this causes the esentially the problem most other options are not an issue. As John has just advised then check with your dealer on link.

    I would imagine you could at the earliest be looking at Grand Benelux due in at Portbury Monday 3rd May from Antwerp the next in from Antwerp is Grande Colonia for Saturday 8th May. With the estimated arrival date in Uk from link and the status code you should be able to work out which ship your car is coming in on. I give the schedules on General Abarth - When will my Ship come in status 30/35.

    SJH's came in on Grande Portogallo on 15th narrowlly avoiding a ship full of Molasses!!

    Trooper, you still have the excitement of marinetraffic.com to look forward to, not to mention the little car himself! By all accounts on this forum, it is worth it unlike the experience of one of my friends who (un)helpfully said to me, "the waiting is the best bit". I can only imagine that tells us all we need to know about the 135i...  ;D

    Delaney - any of your Italian collegues know what Internationale have been eating/drinking so that we can send some to Anfield?!?

    My daughters car isn't due or needed 'till November, wanted to be absolutely sure it would be here in time. The 695, no idea, dunno if I am allowed one just put a deposit down and keeping my fingers crossed - I waited 2 years for my last car so I am reasonably patient. I have to say though this is a freindly forum, unlike others (non-Fiat/abarth).

    It wasn't too bad as I always knew how long it was but I have to say that it did help to have a "complimentary" race academy and some great freebies along the way.

    Jan you should be giving Platts some hassel to get a reponse if it doesn't then talk to the dealer principle it is no great hassel for them to be providing you the customer with information.

    Dealers not knowing is nothing new. Car makers are notorious for not updating their system. I once got a car that according to Fords was still in Belgium! A little call to the dealers won't hurt but you can't always blame them for lack of info. Good luck though.

    I don't know what all the different levels mean but I'm pretty sure that status 10 is better than status 1 so you've just given my patience a new lease of life.

    DOH! I wish I hadn't read that lol.

    Still, at least I know I have time to really think about adding air conditioning if I want.

    Got to keep looking on the bright side because this car is going to be amazing.
