I did test drive the new ST and it was very nice, but the Abarth felt more sprightly.  Bearing in mind i'm coming from almost 300bhp, the Abarth I think felt quicker, and throttle response much better.

I posted a picture of my mini, but I can't see it so not sure if it worked.

Welcome along! I came from Ford as well, I also drove the ST and agree the Abarth felt way more eager, there is not much between the two cars, the Abarth is the better city car as it has the lighter weight in it's favour. Plus they look better and aren't as common!

    Enjoy :)

Welcome to the forum! I looked at an ST when I was getting a new car and chose the A500 for much the same reason that it just felt nicer! I also enjoy the looks of the boy racers when I whiz past them on the dual carriageway ;D

Agreed on the ST being too popular, great car but far too many of them. I must say though, if they did a Fiesta RS in acid green and 250 + bhp I'd have to purchase!

Oh yes! She's just unfortunately having to be driven in some weather she's not use until the new car arrives.

There's lots of rumours, and I'd certainly have a deposit down if it were to ever be put into production!

I hope it does happen. If it does, with the BHP on the right side of 250 and the same aggressive styling as the Focus RS I'll be down to Ford instantly.
