Hello from Lancashire
« on: February 08, 2020, 11:34:13 am »
Hi everyone.  Not an Abarth owner yet but am hoping to be one soon.
Myself and hubby are both ageing petrol heads and as the powers that be try to force these electric mototrons on us, we're planning to get us an Abarth Turismo with all the fixings sometime soon.
Our current cars are an 11yr old MX5 MK3 and a 15yr old Smart Roadster Coupe. Both have been garaged and have only 50k or so on them so they are in pretty much perfect condition. We are waiting for the Smart to go to the sports car heaven but it doesn't look like it's going to oblige anytime soon so we may have to bite the bullet and sell it to an enthusiast. The Smart will be replaced by the Abarth.
So that's where we are at the moment. We have been and ogled at our local Abarth dealer in Bolton and we want either a Gaura white with red pack (me) or a Record grey with the same pack (Hubby). I am a bit of a girly wimp, so the first trip will be to AV Solutions nearby, to have heated seats sorted out (why on earth don't Abarth offer it as an option?) ::) Anyway enough, watch this space folks!!!
