Hello from Croatia and very soon to be Abarth 500 Esseesse owner. This is going to be my second Abarth, the first one was Ritmo Abarth 125TC at the end of 80's. I'm close to retirement but still with tons of petrol in my veins. So brand new Polo TSI is simply to slow although remapped to 120PS. Mrs is not very happy with transition from brand new smart and sleek VW to tiny screamer but eventually MTA and convertible roof made her agree.
This one comes from local second hand dealer importing mostly from Germany. This Esseesse is 2012. with 50K miles but in top condition. I'm right in the middle of process of getting rid of Polo and hopefully get the Abarth somewhere next month. I'm grateful to you guys for providing so much useful info on those enchanting minis and helping me to decide. My long time tuner (Sedox representative) has already prepared a map so 170PS and 304Nm is expected soon after purchase. Looking forward to participate soon here.
