Hello, soon to be 595 owner
« on: May 25, 2021, 05:53:49 pm »
Hi gang.
Been looking at the 595 turismo's for awhile now, and have been driving a 2008 merc slk 3 litre since 2015. Before that its mostly been italian cars, from uno turbo mrk 2 to alfa gtv. However, a water leak in the old merc has forced my hand, so once i get rid, the 595 is next.
Had my reservations, from reviews about seating positions, to boring plastic trim, but i am used to all that. Approaching 50 and i miss a turbo car, and paying silly road tax on.something that wont be used as much as working from home seems to be the thing now. Rock n roll

Check out an OBD port blocker as well, this stops a plug in device being used, cost approx £60.00, access to the port seems to be the main method of stealing these cars.

Well guys, i can now officially say i am an abarth tursimo owner, 2018 plate 14,000 on the clock, and 1 owner.

A couple of bodywork issues that dealer will sort out, and unfortunately a chip dink right on the nose of bonnet which i may have to deal with, but if it was perfect i am sure it wouldnt be for long, so i just want enjoy the car, and not get too worked up about such things or i wont bloody drive it!!
