We'll be picking our LE up next Wed, as axiled Stokey's that's when we'll be back in the potteries! It's giving the dealer time to swap the 10 spokes for the 5 petal wheels. It'll be SWMBO's car and she determined to let her mini go but a bit of persuasion and a test drive in a 1.2 pop!! was enough for her to weaken. Speaking of the test drive the fiat salesman in Lincoln where we took it wins the prize for the most bulls**t to come out of anyones mouth in such a short period of time!! The downright lies he was sprouting means we'll never darked their door again. I'm hoping this forum is going to be as helpful as Briskoda, the other forum I use  :)

    Have an official  :wave: in your Intro thread. We hope we'll live up to your helpful expectations they're a good bunch here except the Mods are weird... Oh wait.

    I can confirm the Mods are odd!

    One of his best was that the abarth didin't really exist!! that it was just a 1.4 sport with a body kit and a few engine mods, lol, and that what most people were donig was buying a 1.4 sport, running it for a while, then fitting the abarth kit as it was cheaper that way!!

    Another was that the 1.2 500 had a quicker 0-60 time than our mini dooper!

    I thought Swiss Tony was only a fictional character these days...I guess not ;D On the upside you may not have bought a car from him but at least you have something to spread on the garden :whistle: Welcome to the forum :wave:

    you know thats just jogged my memory.... the fiat dealership in wakefield told me that abarth where dead and gone.... ok there not an abarth dealership but still come on..... its almost like vauxhall denying the existance of 888 :P
