Hi Guys and Gals,

Thought ide say Hi, well I've wanted an Abarth 500 for well over a year now, fell in love the first day i saw one in the flesh, I must say im into my cars and as far as competitors go there Isn't anything that comes close for the performance, price tag and exclusivity.. My Dad has a Fiesta Zetec S Mountune and as much as i love driving this car EEEEEVERYONE HAS ONE!

I currently have a Mk1 Ford KA which I've played around with a bit to make it look a bit Sporty and not like a OAP-mobile :-)

I should be ordering my Abarth 500 around April/May 2012 (got a wedding to pay for first) CANT WAIT!!  ;D

Spec would go something like: Scorpion Black, 17" Petal alloys, Climate Control, Premium Stereo upgrade, Full Black leather, White Side Stripes & Checkered Roof, Blue & Me.

One thing i keep going back and forth about is colour scheme... Originally (and still do) want Scorpion Black with White Stickers, but ive been thinking about Scorpion black with red stickers to match the interior stitching etc.. or even Campovola Grey with black stickers or with the red stickers or even white. The only thing im noot keen on about the Campovola Grey is that its looks like Primer and not a dark enough grey.

    With that sort of lead time, you will have lots of opportunities to see plenty of cars in the flesh at our meets. This might help you decide.

    Hay, cheers for the replies.... TELL ME ABOUT IT... I CANT WAIT.. but as many of you may know the powers that are the thumb on the forehead permit the purchase of anything new and shinny before sed wedding date!

    I'de be well out of place and RIDICULOUSLY jealous around you lot with your Abarths but the more i look at pictures of other members Abarths on here the more im swayed to Scorpian Black then the Cap grey and then maybe with the londer and wider GREY side stripes and checkered roof but then ide have the dash and wing mirrors carbon wrapped. (I know its been done before)

    I basing in Birmingham (Sutton Coldfield)

    As for the Mountune Fiesta amazing looking car but as i said before everyone is getting them these days. performance gains are pretty good, the exhaust sounds hell of a lots more gutsy and torque and off the line speed and improved BUT....
    From 118BHP > 140BHP for £3000 fitted just isn't worth it the Ford paper its printed on and as for the insurance premium was just astonishing!

    Does anyone had any Hi-Res pictures of an A500 with these two specs...

    Campovolo Grey with black side stripes and black checkered roof with petal alloys and black leather seats.

    Scorpion black with white side stripes and white checkered roof and petal alloys and black leather seats.

    Hey and welcome to the forum, it's full of great and friendly Abarth owners and you'll feel at home here. I actually prefer this more than Facebook...

    I used to have a Streetka in storm grey with aftermarket 17" alloys and silver Viper stripes.

    While I cannot help you with colour pictures to whet the appetite, I can see you live in Sutton Coldfield. I'm quite local as I live outside Solihull.

    We will be getting together at Stanford Hall near Leicester on Sunday 6th June and you are more than welcome to come along and say Hello. There will be a large turnout of A500's in various colour configurations. No one is alike the other!

    Please feel free to ask further questions here - and we are not on commission!
