But my average Miles per tank is 248.6 for the last 21,000 miles. More info on my fuelly page below :thumb:

Welcome, in terms of  costs, if insurance isn't an issue then I think the rest will be fine! FYI average mpg over last 2.3k has been 37 with mixed driving. I don't think you would look back if you got 1  :thumb:
    I came, I saw, I purchased! I love it!

You wouldn’t be disappointed if you got one... Trust me!! :D

Thanks Jessica, guess some hunting and test driving is on the cards soon! The other half just keeps giving me a look whenever it's mentioned, think he's worried about me driving a faster car than him to be honest!  ;D

:D My boyfriend is very Jealous, his van used to fast untill I got my A500 and now he cant keep up  ;D ... I have checked for insurance for him aswell and it makes my policy go up by £1000 so hes gutted!.. I think you should keep 'hinting' he will soon ger bord and buy you one  :thumb:  ... Lovely weekend for driving one though! - Perfect for a test drive  ;)
    Jessica… :D

I can't think of one reason why the Abarth 500 is not sensible. Although it is fast, fun and good to look at.... doin 200 miles per week is nothing really so there should'nt be any reliability issues. You can get good MPG but I think 35MPG is realistic. Servicing is most likely to be the same cost as any other car. You might save a couple of quid a month buying a F500 but if you where to drive the Abarth, you would understand why everyone loves them and why it is a better choice.  ;D

Yes we did make it to Petch in the afternoon meet with Johny had a test drive of a brand spanking new 0miles on the clock version, got a quote just making sure everything adds up with what I want and then will most likely be ordering shortly!

Saw the white with red grille, also had a treat and saw their racecar in the workshop which, with abit of help from the husband we got started and had a geeky listen (we're motorsport marshals so the geekiness is acceptable!) so he came away smiling also!

I'll up date you all once I've stopped dilly dallying!  :D

Maybe abit controversial but as I only pootled around semi busy York Saturday afternoon roads and it was brand new I didn't get a full abarth experience, however it drove nicely, felt safe and sexy. The ride position did seem good for visibilty (a little high but it's a smaller car than I'm used to driving!) The gear change felt short (not sure if thats normal, our Scooby had short gears), took it out of sport mode and got mildly irritated by the constant change up indicator so put it back in sport mode.

Also got a quick question though may post in the main area just wanted to know if the skydome roof has an internal cover? (thinking about getting it as an option but don't want to be sat in a greenhouse!)

I did literally only go round the surrounding roads in traffic so was in it for about 5mins, and I'm sure once run in and on quieter roads it would be a different experience.
