Potential 500 owner from Scotland!!

Hello all! My name is Panos and I live in Edinburgh.
This is my first post in the forum. A lot of good info available to read made my register.
I am about to buy my first ever car and as it seems it will be an Abarth 500. I just need to find the perfect one for me.  :)

    Welcome Mad! What sort of spec are you looking at? Being a potential scottish based owner, check out our fb group Abarth Scozia and our sub section on the Fiat-Scotland forum. We arrange all the events and meets over their for everything based in Scotland.

    Have a look in the events page on here also for the Scottish Italian Car Day, be great if you can come along! Remember to get some photo's up when you pick your Abarth up! :)

    Thanks a lot Brian.
    I am currently looking at an Abarth 500 with 140hp, 2013 model with paddle shifters and only 17K miles.
    I was looking for an Esseesse model initially but I prefer to actually upgrade the car to my own taste instead of getting it ready and at a pace that I am comfortable with money wise and spec wise.  :)

    I liked the page on FB. Unfortunately I am flying on the 29th. :(

    That's a shame but there will be plenty more events over the summer you might be able to get along too! Also have our monthly mini meets through at Braehead, could always base one at the Krispy Kreme's through Edinburgh way so it is closer to home for you! :)

    The base model 140 is definitely the best one to buy if you plan on modding the car yourself. A simple remap will give you around 165-170 bhp anyway so it will actually be quicker than a standard esseesse :)
