Another new 124 Spider owner
« on: October 04, 2020, 04:42:38 pm »
Life before kids was a Laverda Mirage for him and an XR2 and R19 Convertible for her, then sensible cars as the children grew up, now a Blue 2018 Spider for us all to enjoy. 12k miles Heritage pack, Bose and visibility pack.

Congrats on the new purchase. By your previous motoring choices I am guessing you are late 50's like myself?
Only had mine a few days and today was my first 'proper' drive. 3 hours of A and B roads just for the heck of it. Absolutely fantastic. Coming from a line of Nissan Z cars (350 / 370) I really thought I may miss the power but the lightness and flickability more than make up for it plus plenty of midrange grunt. The car sounds great with the Monza exhaust and even better with the roof down.
    Enjoy..

Not the fastest at responding, sorry, yes same age group as you, always liked the look of the 240 and 260Zs. My only excuse for not posting have been busy putting the miles on the car and smiles on us, Hampshire to West Devon on the A30 and return, enjoying the handling, was followed by an 1980's V8 Vantage for a while, at least on the straight bits. :)
