Wotcha
« on: March 24, 2011, 10:15:30 am »
Hi People.

My wife picks up her grey 500 EsseEsse this weekend and we are both looking forward to it.  She got a funk white 1.4 Sport when they first came out and has loved it.

Over the years we have had all sorts of cars from MR2s to five Scoobies (I used to have a Subaru tuning/mapping company) to a 996 Carrera 4 to an original Mini Cooper S.

I now have a boring but comfortable A6.  It being 2 tonnes of torpor, it made sense to get something small and fun, so the 500 SS made perfect sense.

Options spec'd are full black leather, white multi spoke wheels, climate control and white Abart side strips.  The white wheels look great on the grey car.

We are looking forward to our new arrival.  :)

    Bonjour
Now that I'm a grown up I drive a sensible grey 595 Competizione with grey leather sabelt seats and yellow brake calipers. It's jolly nice! It's got a name - ' Razzogrigio' Now with a custom S/S group N style exhaust, black Esseesse wheels and a GTT induction kit, all sitting on Eibach springs.

I have a less boring but still comfortable S6........... and for me, it also made sense to get something small and fun!

There seems to be a surprising number of people on here who either have or had an Audi, as opposed to the other German brands.

    Anyway, welcome!

Welcome, good choice and nice spec! Looking forward to seeing some photos ;)

I used to own imprezas had 4 of em including a 22B maybe our paths have crossed what was the name of your tuning business??

Ahhhhh, the 22b, my all-time favourite Impreza. Had 3 myself, UK turbo (classic), blobeye WRX, and Hawkeye STi, loved them all! Bambino came along, so ended up with the Volvo V50 T5 (and A500).

It's funny seeing all these people who had these big fast cars, upgrading to the A500 :D
Campovolo Grey Abarth 500 & Volvo V50 T5. Lots of plans for the 500 :)

The warranty could have definitely helped the brakes, if you were careful.
