Yip yip...excited!
« on: August 24, 2009, 01:21:04 pm »
I'm very happy to have found Abarthisti...I'm sure its going to help me get through the long labour of waiting, until early October, for my 500A. I've not had a baby, but I imagine the waiting feels something like this....no?! Ts'excruciating!

Welcome, but you must have noticed we need more details to satisfy our own insane cravings for Abarth goodness  ;D So what colour have you ordered and what options?

The wait is a nightmare but so worth it, even after 5 months I had a short trip back to work at lunch I still thought "I **ing love this car" when I pulled up in the car park  so, so much fun factor. :lala:

Hello Welcome to the forum, you will indeed find plenty of things to read about on here, from the very helpful to things completley unrealated to Abarth.

Whats your spec and who are you getting it from?

Oh, yes... the spec. I've gone for the campavole grey with no decals, grey mirrors, 16" wheels, sunroof, climate control and black leather interior. I might add an Abarthisti sticker, but generally, I like things simple! (Also far less likely to be trashed - my hopeful philosophy!)
I've only owned old bangers in my life...lovely old bangers tho. My first car was a 126, the next a 128.
I love it that there aren't many on the road...I've only seen one, and nearly crashed when I saw it. "That is a baaad boyyyyy", is literally what I thought, ...I don't usually think in those terms!!
I did the deal with Claire in Romford...who is brilliant; she really knows her stuff, but more than that, it's so clear she loves them!
I've got time off work in October....where to go?!  :)
