Got an Armster 2 armrest for my birthday in December (not a bad choice by the outlaws!)

Finally had the time and weather to fit it  :thumb:

It attaches over the rear cup holders with 4 screws.  It took longer finding a way to mark the holes in a way that could be easily seen than drilling - it was very easy.

For anyone interested / researching in the future:

The car is now almost 3 years old (end of March).  Went in to Bauer Millet today for the MOT - passed with flying colours.

Also the original Michelin's are still on at almost 19k miles with 6 to 8 mm tread all round - impressive compared to my 159Ti - will be interesting to see if I get more miles than the Michelins on our old Clio 182  ???

The Michelin Pilot Sports on our A500 are showing similar longevity, and feel much better on the road. Lightness of the car helps.

Like the Forge kit and meant to sound nice too. You should get some nice noises when coming off fully throttle too :thumb:

For extra incar noise make some small holes in the plastic scuttle panel to allow extra cool air into the engine bay

Thanks for the tip. Will have to wait for dry weather to fit.  No instructions on cleaning or oiling included.  The R32's Forge kit is due for a clean.

Found a PDF after search that suggests just a clean in dilute washing up liquid/water and simply drying.  Anyone know if that's because it's pleated polyester rather than cotton?  Wasn't expecting that but makes the job simpler if true!

Beat me to it, I was gonna say most people end up having to download their own instructions on PDF lol

I was really impressed with my Forge turbo elbow compared to the silly ribbed factory item :P

Just thought I'd do a quick update as I haven't been on here for ages.  I was thinking of replacing the tyres but the original Michelins are still going strong.

My wife gave birth to our first baby, a boy called Yahya, on 17 Dec 2014. Haven't been able to go to any meets.  The boy keeps looking at a picture of my car on a wall at home, so I guess he's bored of the wife's R32 lol!

Makes me laughs that everyone thinks we'll sell it for a sensible car. No way not yet!

For anyone in the future the Baby Jogger City Mini GT fits in the boot no problem with space to spare for a road trip to France (remove a quick release wheel or 2).  Surprisingly there are a few choices but I wanted something compatible with the latest highly rated Recaro Privia car seat.

So there you go - I've had to grow up. Just a smidge!

The time has come to say goodbye.  I have put the car up for sale after almost 5 years of fun.

I shall miss it and hope it goes to a good home.  If not it'll be traded in...
