Right okay... update long overdue!
The clutch was slipping under hard acceleration in the higher gears so had a new genuine clutch fitted at work (Abarth dealer). Old one didn't look too bad, but you could see it had been struggling due to markings etc on the surface and the fact that the friction material was worn down. New clutch in, and the car drives superb.
Also had the car dyno tested along with a few other local Abarths and was really pleased with the outcome.
Car made over 180bhp (just) and produced bucket loads of torque nice and early in the rev range which would explain why it feels so good to drive on the roads. Even the dyno operator remarked upon how well it performed and the results it got! Setup was a a bluespark tuning box on setting E, bmc panel filter and a Milltek stainless system.

And the most important update, I got new wheels... Always wanted a set of these and just couldn't justify the price, but after biting the bullet I'm so glad I did. Car gets so much more attention, and I think they really make it look like a life size hot wheels toy car...
