My 180 Comp

Keep meaning to post pic but haven't taken decent camera out with me to do it.  So here's a quick couple from phone.  Seats are black/red leather leather.  All handles etc replaced with chrome originals.

Always liked the look of my Esseesse and had planned on replacing it with a Turismo.  Didn't like the red rear seats instead of the black like I already had, so Sabelts were going to be the only option, with something like an Akrapovic exhaust.  Then came the 180..decision made.

    I think they said it was the first white/red one they'd received in the dealership back in mid July but wasn't registered till 1st September.  Not sure about across UK if it was the first or how many.

    Moose: Chrome and Scorpion decal are not options.  I had them done by the dealership as an additional part of the order.  Just told them that's what I wanted done.  I have all the original parts stored should I or a future owner wish to put them back on.  I think the grey handles work well on the darker colours and on the Cordola Red as I've mention in other threads.  I just think the chrome looks better on the white as it's not as much of a contrast.

    fizzio: That was the plan.  It came down to keeping traditional with white/red stripe + chrome + scorpion or going for cordola with grey stripe or no stripe as the paint is the real feature.  In the end, I still love my Esseesse, even though the ride was pretty rough at times.

    It is superb. Reminds me of my launch spec Abarth  500 in 2009. A great colour combo and the chrome against the white is different.. In a good way  ;D

    Brilliant. As I have said time and again, I really wish my comp had chrome trim!

    The only thing I don't like so much is the bonnet decal, but I love it in white. I still maintain white looks superb on the A500, it just suits it perfectly. A classic combo!!!

    I really wanted Chrome trim also but after seeing the dark metallic looking grey plastic, I am very happy with it instead. Really matches the side strips well and it doesn't mark the door handle or door card like it would if it was gloss black and a chrome handle! :)

    Yeah i don't see any white/ red 180 comp in Auto trader at all.  I have ordered the exact exterior colour with red strip, red mirrors and red bonnet decal too.  Just waiting for the delivery date now.  Yeah I agree, the white/ red is the classic abarth colour.  I have however ordered the turismo seat due to comfort and preference for my other half. 

    Now I am just waiting for the delivery date.  Ordered at the end of July.

    Oh I prefer the chrome trim myself.  How much does it cost to change them do you mind if I ask?  Did the dealer do it for you? or you went for aftermarket?  Did you change them all, including the boot handle too?
