Two Abarth 500s together!

I went to the local spa tonight and when looking for a parking space came across this little beauty!  It was on Finnish plates, so a helluva way from home.  Had to take some cheeky snaps :thumb:

    The plates are indeed Finnish and it's very interesting that it is registered in here since Abarth is not officially imported to Finland. The Finnish Customs also publishes lists of all privately imported cars and there hasn't been any 500A's on those lists. Strange.

    Seems like somebody beat me to it and I won't be the first 500A owner in Finland.  It would be useful for me to know how much the Finnish Customs thinks the car is worth since that affects the registration taxes. Well, maybe the car will turn up on the Customs lists later on.

    Yes, it's definitely warmer in Holland. At the moment the temperature is -13C here in southern Finland.

    Got a friend in Alavus who's put some money into getting a A500, asked him, but its not his.

    Interesting. How is he planning to get the car to Finland? Is he going to import it himself or is he planning to use some dealer/middleman to get the car to Finland?

    By the way I did a search based on the registration plates on the car which Euroboy posted and the name of the owner of the car sounds like he could be Dutch (or perhaps German) even though the plates are Finnish.

    Except that I have not red stripes, only red mirrors (afterwards done in original colour). Must be the only one or one of a few  :D.

    Yes, unique I would have thought. I feel that the Funk White is a good choice as it will set them apart from the first LE 200 cars. :thumb:

    Looks smart, I'm thinking of changing the wing mirrors on mine to either black to blend in with the posts or body coloured. Good to see you've got the right wheels on it too  :whistle:

    Don't forget richbrowne, redmirror's car isn't a UK car

    Interesting you should say that SDM because I also pondered the thought of the chrome with my Funk White spec to match the door handles. In the end I opted for red backed mirrors with the logic that I can always procure chrome ones later if I so desired.

    Anyone know of any pics of a Funk White A500 with chrome mirrors please?
