My little weekend away
« on: January 04, 2009, 02:39:04 pm »
hey all been away for the past 4 days to ravenscar for a nice relaxing holiday / to blast my car around some very good roads... thought id post some pics of the better pictures

please excuse the filth on the car!!! i swear i cleaned it before i set off but 80 miles of motorway driving + the same amount bombing around muddy country roads soon shows on a white car unfortunatly :(

a few comments on the car - such a pleasure to drive, i had so much more fun than when i did the same last year in my mjet. the car handled absolutly fine over all the twisty and ungelating roads. HOWEVER managed to hit a bloody unseen pot hole and i fear its knocked the tracking out slightly ... only really noticed on the motorway drive on the way home its pulling ever-so-slightly to the right - odviously i wouldnt be concerned if it was doing it to the left as the roads are shaped like that to drain away the water but as its to the right :S

 - anyone know how much it is to sort the tracking out? - i also dont need to go back to my dealership to get it done do i??? i got a tire garage about 2 minutes drive from me, will it be fine to go there?

well here are 4 pictures, i took the one next to the scooby because of the spoiler! im not a fan of scoobys but the fact that it had the rally spoiler on made me smile :)

P.S. sorry about the size!!! i cant do anything with them as i dont have a program to alter pictures apart from paint, and thats just crap!

Ravenscar's a great part of the world, there are some good roads around there. The fish and chips are good in that neck of the woods as well.

I don't see any reason why your local garage shouldn't check your tracking. It's worth doing, those Pirellis aren't cheap.
