My new Abarth is here!
« on: January 03, 2009, 05:33:55 pm »
Picked her up today from Research in Nuneaton (great dealership by the way).

Took it very easy on the way back (about 120 miles-ish) but I already know that this is a better car than my previous T-Jet 120.

Got home, washed ALL the salt off  :-[ then waxed.

Overall, very, very happy indeed!! :thumb:

Dave.

Yep, and I love the fact that they're so easy to clean. Can reach right through to the back of them for cleaning the (insides) and also can wax them easily too.

I used to hate cleaning the wheels on the T-Jet, a real PITA, and took forever.

Nope, this one was outside on top of a rampy-type thing that raised the height of the car in the air to about 6 foot!

Gave me a good opportunity to check the outside and underneath before purchase  ;D

Everything was OK (and still is now) so I'm a happy chappy :)

Good choice! Don't worry, the waiting time for me only heightened the excitement of getting the car (although I only had to wait a week for mine).

If I see you around, I'll give you a wave , we're not that far away from each other, geographically.....
