"Tributo" Tributo Ferrari
« on: April 23, 2016, 05:52:10 pm »
Always been a fan of a stripe or two so I have added some Tributo Ferrari stripes and badges to my new Podium Blue Turismo and also some prancing horse wheel centres. What do think?

Love the car colour and the wheel caps are nice especially if you have yellow brake calipers.  For me, the stripes are a 'no no'!  Well, you did ask ;D
Nov 2012 A500, officiano red, 17' petals but otherwise standard (wife beats me severely about the head and body if I talk about customising but I did buy a logoed folding umbrella!) I just love it - the car that is! well, and the wife!!

I know the stripes won't be everyone's cup of tea!

I love the colour of the car, but the stripes do nothing for me. I think there's a credibility issue in badging a car to be something it isn't. The A595 is plenty good enough on its own.

But hey, each to their own. And again, I do love that colour.

    I love it.

Seeing this colour makes me jealous that I didn't take the plunge and order it.

Still haven't seen one in the flesh in this colour, but it's stunning.

    Good job.

Agree,  it looks sweet, but its not a genuine Ferrari so why badge it as one?.  I am just curious.. but what would you say to someone if they asked what all the Ferrari badges are about ?

No disrespect meant though.. I love the podium blue, the same as mine :) :)

Like the colour of the car, yellow centre caps and calipers look great, not too sure about the stripes....However the badging is a definite no..no, can`t see the point of badging above its calling...I would be embarrassed if asked to explain the point!!. But each to there own i suppose.

    Well I did ask!!!!! :)

For me these cars are all about having some fun and having to talk to someone about my car if they ask about the Ferrari logos is a giggle. Guess the guys who have a real Tributo get asked the same questions anyway.

I wasn't convinced about the stripes, but they can be removed easily and they are actually growing on me.

Really enjoying Azure (that's what I've named here), and I know it means light blue in Italian not dark blue - but hey life's too short to worry about things like that.

I think the car looks great but not the badge.

Years ago I had an Audi S8 and I had it badged as an A8 2.8 and I even got rid of the aluminium mirror caps for a set of body coloured ones. Only people that knew what an S8 was would have been able to spot it. 20" wheels and brembo brakes were a bit if a giveaway though.

    Downbadging is good.
My dad wanted to badge our 2.0 16V Xantia as a 1.6 but I didn't let him  ;D
