    Saw Frankie Boyle last night:

Role play with the wife - She dresses up and pretends to be Catwoman... and I pretend to love her.

My favourite bit (look away now):  Cut from Mock the Week - Phrase most likely to change the atmosphere at a dinner party:  "If we're all here... where's Madelaine?"

Followed immediately by the remark that Gerry McCann must be truly devastated, but a tiny bit of him must have thought - "I could put a pool table in that room."
grigio campovolo - kit estetico nero - pelle nera - tetto in vetro fisso - cerchi in lega 16" - koni FSD - molle SS - G-Tech S - stolen 2017
    Ghiacchio Comp, all options.

To quote Frankie Boyle "lets see if that makes it into the show "

Just a little update for you all on her progress  ;D

Friday i spent 6+ hours detailing her  :-* then half an hour after i finished it rained  :'(

The dodo juice light fantastic wax i used is amazing  8) would definitely recommend it  :thumb: also the redmist detail spray is great and smells fantastic  ;D

Because of the rain i didnt get any photos :( will put some up next time she gets a scrub  ;)

Following on from an earlier post i mentioned that i threw away the horrible standard 500 scuff plates and replaced them with some shiny Abarth ones i got from Italy  8) here's a better photo.

I also mentioned my Abarth boot mat, I had this specially made a while ago from a guy on ebay (he didnt do Abarth in red) now i think hes got some like this for sale on there now :)

One of the other things that has bothered me about my car is how the sidelights/DRL's look yellow compared to my xenons :( so fitted some blue/white bulbs as mentioned in this thread https://www.abarthforum.co.uk/500-abarth-tuning/another-500-bulbs-thread/ Thanks Joe for the info  :thumb: but i now have some very sore wrists :( from scrapping them on the inside of the access panel.

Yesterday i removed the horrible standard airfilter and replaced with the BMC SS filter  8) cant say its made any difference but it makes me feel better  :P

Also ive been busy removing my recirc pipe from my dump valve and fitting a BMC filter and blocking of the old pipe.
see these threads for more info https://www.abarthforum.co.uk/500-abarth-tuning/dump-valve-3055/ i didnt use the "kit" that some people bought from ebay.Italy but sourced the filter from ebay and made the plug that blocks the old hose from the correct size of aluminium round bar  :) i think it looks pretty  8) makes a nice woosh sound, not to everyone's taste but for less than £30 i wanted to see what it was like (never had a turbo engine before) heres some pics.

I've really enjoyed tinkering with her this weekend :)

Where did you get the boot mat from?  Had a quick search on Ebay and can't find any...

I can confirm that the stupid flashing hazards when braking is very very very PANTS :thumbd: took it out the other night for a spin and while pressing on through a series of tight bends the flashing made me look like i was pressing the wrong buttons on the console  >:(

Ive had this so called safety feature on other cars but they have never cut in as often as on the A500  :(
Surely there is a fuse i can pull out .....please  :'(

    Something I've just noticed Trooper;
Your battery is a Magneti Marelli / Abarth branded one.  Mine isn't, they must have started branding them since I got mine!

Since ordering my A500 ive been concerned about stone chips, my last car was covered in chips down the side skirts so last weekend i made myself some stoneguards/mudflaps  :D

They are made from some 2.5mm carbon look abs plastic and took about 8+ hours to cut, polish edges and fine tune the shape to get them just right :) The rears are particularly hard to get right due to the standard black plastic lip at the rear of the wheel arch.

I decided not to fix them directly to the wheel arches (didnt want to fix direct into metal)and instead fixed them to the wheel arch liners  ;)

I can confirm that the front are doing a great job of stopping stones from reaching my paintwork and the rears are great at keeping the tailgate clean :)

    What do you think?

Will try and get some better pics up tomorrow when shes been cleaned :)

The ones I put on are similar and they do a good job and the sills have very few marks on them.
