Dealer Feedback section is on holiday

The Dealer Feedback section is going on a little holiday for a while.

It will return shortly after a quick wash and brush up.

    After a thorough scrub-up, the Dealer Feedback section has returned from its little holiday.

    Over time, the section had wandered a little from its intended purpose - to give constructive feedback on your experiences of your Abarth dealer, following the purchase of a car or completion of service or warranty work.

    Feedback for some dealers had been left in other dealers' threads; some 'feedback' was left purely on the basis of a phone call or a test drive (it doesn't matter how good your test drive was if the dealer clams up once they've got your money, or delivers a red car when you ordered a black one); and some threads were just general chit-chat that, while perfectly valid and entertaining, belonged elsewhere.

    So, this time around, there are a few ground rules: Comments should be self-contained feedback on your overall experience following the purchase and delivery of a car or completion of service/warranty work.  If you want to comment on someone's feedback, drop them a Private Message (PM).  And, as before, all feedback must be constructive and factual.  Ranting, retaliatory or libellous comments will be removed, and in all cases of dispute, your dealer must be given the opportunity to resolve the matter first.

    None of this is designed to stop you talking about what you want - it's aimed at trying to keep the feedback section on-track so that people looking for honest opinions on who to entrust their baby to can find them quickly and easily.  For everything else, there are plenty of other sections.  Perhaps the Members Cars section to show off photos of your new acquisition and tell us the story about your dealer handover; or the General Abarth section to talk about the cost of servicing.

    To leave your feedback, head on over to the Dealer Feedback section, find the appropriate thread for your dealer, and hit 'Reply'.

    A quick note for dealers: while we offer you the right-to-reply regarding specific points of criticism, all other follow-up to members' comments should be made in private.  Attempts to 'bump' your own thread will be dealt with harshly.
