The Abarthisti Magazine launches
« on: November 24, 2009, 12:44:35 am »
We recognise that internet forums are not for everyone.  We also recognise that, even if they were, not everyone has time to read them.  However, that doesn't mean you can't keep in touch, or stay informed.

So, to help out, we've created the Abarthisti Online Magazine.

http://www.abarthisti.co.uk/magazine/

Every few weeks, we'll create a round-up of the most interesting developments in a series of articles to be released together as an 'issue'.

We'll also include original editorial, and this month you can read about my experience as a passenger in an Abarth 500 Assetto Corse race car during its shakedown tests at Brands Hatch.

Our aim is to keep the articles short and punchy, too.

If you'd like to offer feedback, or if you have ideas for future articles you'd like to see, please feel free to get in touch, as always.

Oh, and we're now on Twitter.  If you're into that kind of thing.

Absolutely.  I have a couple of irons in the fire to get more 'classic' involvement.

Incidentally, keep me posted regarding your search for a classic.  I keeping looking myself, but the prices have gone a bit silly lately.

The December 2009 issue of the Abarthisti Online Magazine is now live.

    http://www.abarthisti.co.uk/magazine/

In this issue, we take a look back at the key developments of 2009, and cast our gaze towards 2010 – already shaping up to be a bumper year of scorpion activity.

We announce the re-opening of the Abarth Merchandise Shop, and we have news of a couple of special offers on the run-up to Christmas: the Blue&Me iPod/iPhone Adaptor, and the new Abarth 500 'Record Monza' Exhaust system.

There's also a preview of the event calendar for 2010.

The March 2010 issue features a look at what we know about the new Abarth Punto Evo, including an explanation of the new MultiAir system.

We also carry preliminary details of the new Abarth 500C, and a quick recap of our popular Duxford event.

After a longer-than-intended break, the Abarthisti Online Mag is back, with two features to get you started.

The first is a quick round-up of events at the Goodwood Moving Motor Show.

While the second is a brief look into my experience of the new Abarth Punto Evo at the event.

We'll shortly have a third piece from relative new member Exoticaholic about his experience of the Abarth 500C on the day.
