I'll be buying an Abarth 500 at some point, so thats my specific reason.

Being a particular fan of hot hatches though I'm here because the Abarth relaunch interests me,  both for the 500 and Punto.

i have both grand punto and 5oo abarth but wont let me add both lol

I used the forum for information about Abarth prior to purchasing my A595, which I love, and I joined to keep informed and going forward inform about this iconic if sometimes slightly frustrating brand.

I'm here because I sold my previous passion and the garage looked empty without a toy in it. I visited this forum because I've always liked the Abarth style of motoring. Unlike my previous car club which is too stuffy and cliquey.
Abarths and their owners just seem to want to have fun motoring, yet be helpful to each other.
So I used the advice I saw on here. Bought a new Abarth 500, and every time my other half and I get in her we're grinning like a pair of Cheshire cats.
Becuse of that, I joined. :thumb:

Specifically, I have just ordered one, I know very little about the brand, and forums are often a mine of useful information, and its nice to meet like minded people too.

Joined up to get tips and help with my new purchase A500c

Showing my age, but had sportier cars when younger then got drawn into the era of the drab eco box, Decided its now time to have fun motoring again so what if its £180 a year in VED compared to a £0 VED ecobox...

    My motoring really went downhill

Started off as a learner in a 1975 Alfa Alfasud
After passing test had some fun boxes Strada Cabrio, MG BGT, Toyota Celica, TVR Vixen, MG Midget, then it sort of went downhill. With Sierra's and Granada's even a flipping MG Montego

Stuck my head above the parapet a few years ago with a Abarth Stilo, but it was a total nightmare.

Lived last 6 years with the 500 and 500c Twinair.   So decided now was the time to have fun driving again.
