Uconnect updates on 7" system

So I've finally got around to using Uconnect on my 595.  It keeps wanting to do an update, and then fails time after time with "Sorry. Something went wrong with the update installation. Please contact Abarth at 00800 2227 8400 for info on error D6020".  I've tried over a dozen times now :(

It's only a 2.4Mb update, with the message "To continue using Uconnect LIVE you need to perform this 2.4Mb update now. Reboot is required after install.  Just keep you smartphone paired and click INSTALL to start download. Uconnect LIVE 8.6.0"  I've left it updating for over 20 minutes, and it always ends up failing.  5 bars on the mobile phone signal, and the little Uconnect icon is GREEN.

Anyone else come across this problem?  I've reported to Abarth on the 00800 number, but so far they don't have a solution.  Is there some way of applying the updates to Uconnect on a USB stick instead of using the mobile phone connection?  At the moment I can't use Uconnect as it won't let me get past the update screen.

    I didn't have this issue, but I did a full update first then got whatever updates after via my mobile. Check in the uConnect section.

    Thanks for the reply, although I can't even get the map download to work :(  Anyway, it's not really the 8Gb map update that I need, it's just the little 2.8Mb Uconnect Live update that my unit is insisting on getting before it will even let me use Uconnect Live.

    Hooray!!  Finally got the update to work. Suspect it wanted a 3G connection, which around here is very rare.  Managed to drive out and found a 3G signal and parked for a few minutes and the update worked immediately.

    Lots of new features added, including Facebook and at last, Abarth Telemetry.  Now to work out how to actually use Abarth Telemetry, as so far it doesn't seem to have recorded anything.  Also I can't work out how to record an itinerary.  Anyone know if there's a user guide for Abarth Telemetry to download somewhere?
