180 Competizione - Exhaust sound.
« on: August 24, 2015, 09:51:11 am »
Just a quick clip of reversing into my garage, the Stainless Monza is a LOT different from the Mild Steel one, the noise it MUCH deeper.

You can also hear the Turbo/Induction noise whistling.

Love it, is the turbo noise more noticeable in the car as well?

Yes, you can hear it whining from within the cabin. :thumb:

Imagine it is quite similar to my car in the engine noise? It is essentially a Punto Evo Esseesse minus the Multi-air set up? I assume it will be the same whine and turbo chatter you get in these as I get in my own car?

Obviously a much nicer exhaust note from the Monza though ;)

I don't think its massively far from the sound of the Assetto Corse with the turbo/whistle noise...

Sounds good!!! but to be honest it sounds just like the (my) 160 Comp you get the turbo/whistling etc when you start it up (the start up is my favorite thing haha)

For comparison, here was my 160:

More burbles, not quite as boomy, the 180 really is LOUD.
    Both on choke.

Nice motor porthos. Is it just me though and please don't take it the wrong way but I might be the only one that prefers without the turbo whistle,i think it masks the rumble of the Monza.Thats just my opinion though and its a lovely looking car :)
Now with added monza fun :P
