Peter looked a lot more committed ( or is it Mental ) compared to John, the LSD would of torn through the technical section, scary old hill, not sure I will do it again, although perhaps it'll feel better from the safety of my Abarth.

Are both cars standard, if not what suspension mods (if any) does the Competizione has?

John will have some raw footage I'm sure, I took some of the action cam sections and the cars sounded great, although arguably the Comp sounded better... but then I would say that! I would need to upload the footage to youtube but it will take me ages on my rubbish connection here.

No mods to either cars, completely stock Competizione 180, the Biposto was the 50k version I believe, it just didn't have the plastic windows, so it was a touch under the 997kg dry weight of the base spec. There is probably 50kg between the 180 and the 190 in real life with all fluids etc.

The 180 comp has a more practical power band so it pulls away faster at lower rpm, once the biposto gets going though it's genuinely quick and as said the LSD really really helps in the corners.

Had the 180 had an LSD I could imagine the time would have been closer to just 1 or 2 seconds apart.

of course if you ignore price and look at what the car is, a tarted up 500.

Ah, I've met peter, really nice bloke. It was his 595 comp that I had a go in to see if I liked it. He does hillclimbing in his own car he was saying, a caterham maybe()
