Alfa 4C
« on: May 25, 2014, 08:52:01 pm »
Having had the chance to have a very limited play in a 4C the other day (6 miles in traffic  ::) ) I thought i'd upload a quick video just to show that it does pull when you want it to and the gearbox is pretty good  :thumb:
There will be a full test drive and review along shortly.

They are all the same, don't forget they are rear engine so there isn't a lot of Exhaust to be had  ;D

What's the loud clunk heard 2 or 3 times?
Doesn't correspond to the gear changing.

I had all sort of crap in the cabin including the trade plates as the boot is big enough to hold a small squirrel, could be anything  ;D

All the reviews talk about lack of any boot, I suppose a trailer would look wrong, so I will have to stick with the APE if I want to go shopping :)

Hi John, how much different is the gearbox to the MTA in the current abarths?
My car shares the same gearbox outer cover at least :p

Are the 4c's going to be mass produced?

You cannot compare the MTA with the TCT gearbox. The Alfa has a twin clutch box so it's a lot smoother but costs more money.
I wouldn't say it's going to be mass produced. There is no limit on numbers but each dealer is allocated 2 units a year.
