I bought Emma a Countryman last October, its an amazingly good car - the 500x really has some to go to beat it.  We were very anti-Countryman before, we then had a top-spec Cooper SD for two weeks while my BMW was being fixed.  There is an amazing amount of space in it, it's incredibly albe and after a hefty discount was applied very reasonable

Saying that, we both quite the 500x...  We'd need to see it in the flesh to say for sure, but it looks quite nice.

The rear profile definitely reminds me of the Mito though....

Everyone ignored the Fiat sedici, so sticking a 500 badge on should make it a wonderful car.

Agreed, I just don't get why anyone would buy these type of vehicles. Each to their own but there are miles more practical / cheaper / better specced cars if you want something to spin the kids to school. They are so uncool by trying to be cool.

Surely I'm not the only one wondering why Fiat is insisting on using the 500 brand. To me that's not really a 500, I don't see why they don't come up with a new name, the whole point of the 500 (without going into history or whatever) is to be small and 'chic'. This new 500X is a whole different idea

You are right KK, it's just milking the one cool thing that Fiat have. I just hope they don't put the Abarth name on any of the ugly things.

The Nissan Juke R was pretty cool but that was seriously modded from standard.
