Fiat 500X

Who actually wants an Abarth version of this ?
Forget the colour and the fact it's LHD, if Abarth made it would you consider one?

Not unless it got some Integrale style aggression in Abarth form, It's not a hideous car but it looks a little wet and featureless compared to its Renegade brother, might appeal to the missus.

We might possibly think of replacing Emma's Mini Countryman with an Abarth version, if one ever materialised..

We wouldn't entertain the Fiat version though..  I think it's going to end up being a very 'niche' car

It would certainly add another much needed feather to the Abarth cap. :thumb:

Tough to know what would sell in this sector, but if you can sell a Juke you can sell anything :)

That is one ugly interior! If they make an abarth version of this then they are getting desperate.

Ugly interior..? Really? I would say that is possibly the nicest and certainly highest quality interior I have seen in any fiat easily.

I can't imagine there'd be much demand for an Abarth version, but I'm not the target market at all!

What interested me is that I couldn't see a Microsoft logo anywhere around that USB connector - does that mean that Fiat is coming to its senses and finally ditching Blue&Me?

Think it will be targeting a niche audience, but i think it will be a plausible model. If someone wanted an Abarth, but thinks the 500 and Punto are a little small and impractical, then this should fit the bill for them.

Having said that it will go against most things i believe Abarth should stand for, but Rome wasn't built in a day and if Abarth truly want to become a stand alone brand, then these are the risky steps and model expansions they have to consider.

    Good luck to them  :)

I would hate to see an Abarth version. I would never buy any car in that category (Juke, Big Mini's etc.) awful.

Why not? I mean i dont know if i would buy one but there are so many cars out there in the market now that make normal cars faster and sportier. Why not Fiat make the 500x if it would make their sales go up?

If you have a family and you want a big car to be comfortable why not get that plus have the sporty looks and the power ;D

Agreed Shant but are there not miles better options for a family already out there? More power, better looks and practicality can all be had already.

Amazing. I need to take a look :) The CRV we have is a great car but this 500X looks much more aesthetically pleasing.

Can I ask if those dials for the Aircon are the type you rotate under hand to adjust power settings? I REALLY like that! Very tactile compared to push buttons.

I'd rather have a Focus ST estate. I think some people are looking at that ugly mess through Abarth tinted spectacles. If it was made by another company it would get slated on here.
