Plymouth Motorclub Autotest April 2014
« on: April 03, 2014, 08:55:08 am »
I know Sandy does some autotesting / Auto solo but I would bet a lot of you are unaware it even exists.
Autotesting is the most grass roots level of motorsport. It requires no modification to your car, no special licence and even a helmet isn't required. Check out your local area for autotests.
This was the first one from Plymouth Motorclub last night.

That one looks particularly tough, very tight, I would be knackered by the end of that  ;D I wrote a lot of stuff up on the other forum about autosolo I should of copied it here as there are more members, never got around to it, it can be read here

I've not done an autotest myself sticking mainly to autosolos which are similar though seem more open and flowing, quite well suited to the Abarth.

If anyone fancies a bash and they are up this end of the country there is an Autosolo at Kemble on the 13th hosted by bath motor club  that is struggling for entries due to an event clash, join a motorclub(can be done on the day if you let them know) put in an entry and come along and have a go

an example layout at kemble, slightly higher speed.

sorry if that is a bit of a thread highjack Jon, but with similar content though it would be OK.

Didn't think starting a new thread was worth it :)
Rear wheel drive with a loose surface always makes for good Autosolo action :)
